Album 2003 10 Songs. 2005 Boompa Records. More By The Salteens. Short-Term Memories. Whiskey & Records - EP. You May Also Like. lazatoy A vast improvement over Short-Term Memories. Let Go Of Your Bad Days is the perfect album for cheesy, inoffensive, and fun poppy-sounding music. None of that is bad, and it works so well in this album's favor. The tracks here are all enjoyable to listen to and anything that might be considered filler is better than the average filler song has any right to be. In other words, it's pretty good. Let Go of Your Bad Days is the second album released by Canadian power pop group The Salteens. The album has been described as A compact, energetic and joyous barrage of guitar-pop punches, snappy lyrics and sing-along choruses, served up over a set of jubilant melodies. The Vancouver-based Salteens' second album, Let Go of Your Bad Days, is a mature collection of mid-'90s-tinged indie chamber pop whose main fault is a set of utterly forgettable, if well-turned, lyrics. Main vocalist Scott Walker no, not the eccentric balladeer quirks endlessly like David Byrne, Sloan's Jay Ferguson, or Ben Folds, while a vaguely Elephant 6, piano-driven backing pops and cheery early-Beatles ba ba ba's form a chorus under Walker's melodies. Features Song Lyrics for The Salteens's Let Go Of Your Bad Days album. Artist: The Salteens. Genre: Rock. Album: Let Go Of Your Bad Days. Time You Have Been Wasting. Her soft voice makes a welcome reappearance on Home Again, the wistful, wisp of a track that closes the album. A string quartet is all that accompanies her as she sings of hiding inside: Until I've seen the sun, Has washed the snow away. It's an incongruously quiet way to end such a rambunctious record, but it's also one of Let Go of Your Bad Days's strongest songs - even the most zealous optimists are entitled to indulge in a bit of melancholy from time to time, especially when it sounds like this. the salteens let go of your bad days
