Notas

The title of this album up until three days ago was "Tales of Lucy Blue". At that time I realized that Lucy Blue is Ramblin' Gamblin' Man.
Thank You Doctor Fine!

Текст песни: Yeah, Im gonna tell my tale come on, uh come on, give a listen Cause I was born lonely down by the riverside Learned to spin fortune wheels and throw dice I was just thirteen when I had to leave Bob Seger System throw everything into Ramblin' Gamblin' Man, dabbling in folk, blues-rock, psychedelia, and piledriving rock & roll synonymous with Detroit. Typical of such a wide-ranging debut, not everything works. The System stumbles when they take psychedelic San Franciscan bands on their own turf. Trippy soundscapes like Gone drift into the ether, and the longer jams, White Wall and Black Eyed Girl, meander. But the songs that do work are absolute monsters, highlighted by the title track, a thunderous bit of self-mythology driven by a. Bob Seger - Ramblin' Gamblin' Man 1969. Rivik
I have just bought this, and it has all the same details, but has the look and feel of a much later pressing. The blue label, OC Number, and inner EMI bag all seem contemporaneous with a Terry Reid LP I own, released in 1978/79. Was there a prior UK release in 1968, or did this come out in the wake of Bob Seger’s later success?
Still In Mind
I have a similar thing going on - same details, matches images too (purple label), but it also has the look and feel of a later pressing - I have an undated reissue of Bob Seger's 'Smokin' O.P.'s' that has an identical label, although with different text of course, and also has stamped matrix/runout numbers. I know cassettes were around, but was it common for a 1968 release to have 'Available on tape' printed on the back cover?
huckman
I have a Cat number of GO 2018 released through Greenlight . LP cover also has " Greenlight priced right " In corner !
