Their second album, Mastermind Volume Two: Brainstorm, was recorded Winter 1988-Spring 1991 and released in January 1992, with an even heavier sound than the first. The 20-minute title track harkens back to ELP's Tarkus and has been a frequent concert highlight. Between mid-1993 and early 1994, the brothers completed their third studio recording, Tragic Symphony, released in Japan in November '94. Mastermind IV: Until Eternity, 1996 Cyclops Records UK, Marquee Records Japan, Prozone Records USA. Cyclops Sampler, 1996 Cyclops Records one exclusive track. Mastermind's fourth album finds them moving forward into the increasing amount of jazz rock elements into their prog sound, which until their Vol. 3 consisted basically of a combination of symphonic grandeur a la ELP & Kansas and metal prog fire, with some notches of AOR melodic drive. The jazz thing is clearly present and developed in 'Inferno' and 'Jubilee', as well as some parts of the closing namesake suite. Mastermind reaches with this forth album from 1996 the peak of their career so far. To my ears this is their best effort 'till today of this almost unknow american band and stands as equal in greatness with Angels of the apocalypse from 2000
